Firm, fairly level ground, clear access for the truck, and ideally sleepers or blocks for the corners. We talk you through your specific spot before the truck is booked.

That depends on the grade, so we'll always tell you which one you're being quoted. Cargo-worthy units are checked door-to-floor before they travel and are guaranteed wind and watertight — if daylight gets in, it doesn't leave as cargo-worthy. As-is containers are the cheapest grade and are sold exactly as they stand, so they're not sold as watertight. Either way, ask for photos of your container before it's delivered.

Yes — 20ft units from $27/week with flexible terms. Past roughly two years of hire, buying usually works out cheaper; we'll tell you when that's you.

Rules vary by council and by how long the container stays. Many temporary placements are fine; permanent ones sometimes need approval. Gympie Regional Council's planning team can confirm for your block — worth a call for permanent placements.
